Latest edition to my Habsburg Army Hungarian Grenadiers IR 37 Weidenfeld

Image
These are the eight figures I've painted recently, I had two others already painted but based them horizontally...It could not change that without breaking the figures so I just kept them like that and did the others vertical since it results in a better formation. And the conversion of the flag bearer carrying the  Ordinärfahne (Pattern 1806)  I am pleased with the end result and think that a flag really adds to the unit! So more flags to come in the future!  And some small wooden fences I've made :-)  And off they march! I painted these with the intention of being Hungarian Grenadiers of IR. 34 Davidovich but they have silver buttons and I gave mine yellow or gold/copper buttons...So now they will be IR 37 Weidenfeld.

My old summer love back on the workbench!

Image
Last summer (2018) by the end of August I started these figures! Now I can finally pick up the work to continue and finish these beautiful and fun sculpted HaT figures :-) there are some more firing and loading poses to follow..After that I wan't to start working on my Italeri French and Austrian 1/32 figures! :-) Enjoy!   These pride Chasseurs are ready to be based!  Vive l'Empereur!  Meet Francois du Pierre, the fierce and young sergeant of the pelaton! ;-)) Erwin und Friedrich quietly sneak away in the back, realising they don't stand a chance against this battle-hardened Frenchmen ;-) To be continued!

HAT 1/32 SYW Austrian Musketeers test sprue finished!

Image
I painted the test sprues also as Musketeers of the Sachsen Gotha Regiment (Austrian Netherlands) so they can go with the prototypes I painted about a year ago. I've been closely in touch with HaT and they worked hard to adjust the problems (flaws) that some of these figures have, they are restored and I am confident these figures will be outstanding when they hit the stores! Today I finished these figures and this same day I received the Grenadier test sprues that do not have any problems and looks better than most 1/32 sets I have seen! Now I cannot wait for the 1/32 NAPOLEONICS to hopefully soon be made again!  Angriff! Both test sprues and prototypes! (Scenery are some fun dye projects by me, I am still learning ;-) )  Complete test sprue painted!  Complete test sprue painted, rearview.      The figure in the middle is my all-time favourite! It is well sculpted, neat and a nice pose! My  compliments to HaT! ...
