While I finished my Musketeers last night and was photographing them, these came in the mail! Man they look great! HaT really surpassed all my expectations! No remarks or criticism unlike with the musketeers..! These figures are amazing! More great news! ; The Hat French Light infantry sets in 1/32 meaning the 9302 French Voltigeurs - 9304 French Chasseurs - and the 9303 Carabiniers! Also the command set will be re-stocked! Boy oh boy I have send some many e-mails about this and posted it so many times on the HAT-forum and luckily others felt the same! So I hope that it will be in this year they will be available again!

1/32 HAT Austrian SYW Musketeers TEST SPRUE arrived!

HAT 9329 SYW Austrian Musketeers 1/32 / 54mm TEST SPRUE Yes...Yes! Got these in the mail last week! Really excited about the fact that HAT is reviving their 1/32 or 54mm line! I have been in touch with them of the last couple of years trying to feed them with motivation to keep producing in the for me one true scale! Well enough of that!... Let's get to the figures! I have some pictures of the test sprue for you and some moving images! Last summer in '18 I painted the prototypes for this set, now I received the message if I was interested in painting a test sprue of the Austrians, of course, I was very keen on doing so! So these are the SYW (Seven Years War) Austrian Musketeers, the box will be numbered 9329. The box will include 6 poses and 3 sprues will make 18 figures in total. I also made a way too extended ''unboxing video''; if you don't like to read you can listen to my murmuring and have some visuals here: ...

Reporting back for duty, HAT 1/32 converted Austrian Jagers finished.

After some radio silence, I am back on the grid! The last part of 2018 did not allow much toy soldier time. Yet 2019 has already proven to be more fruitful. Here are some images of the conversions I did earlier on the HaT Avant Garde 1/32, the first (or 2nd) 1/32 Napoleonic set they made long ago. Currently, I am finishing most of my old and unfinished projects before I start with new ones. I will post some more images in the upcoming these. For now, these Austrian 1809 Jagers are painted and based and go to go! I hope you enjoy the images and have a look at the post I made about the conversions.  The backpacks are by DSG, the rest of the work is greenstuff.   If you want to see how I made these conversions, have a look at my earlier post of the HaT Avant Garde figures on my workbench;  http://stansarmee.blogspot.com/2018/10/hat-132-avant-garde-subtropical.html

HaT 1/32 Avant garde, a subtropical conversion ;-)

Now that I have finished one project that was on the shelve (and in boxes haha) since spring this year, I am wrapping up another project which I started back in the subtropical days of last summer...At the moment I am finishing all my unfinished toy soldier projects in chronological order.  Yesterday night, I spent my Saturday night painting the first 3 HAT Avant Garde converted to Austrian Jagers, while I was driven by the other Austrian figures and felt encouraged to continue working on my Austrian Army...I painted until early Sunday morning.  When I woke up after  a few  hours of sleep...I decided the 8 men I converted to Jagers (size for a unit for the About Bonaparte rules set from Dirk Donvil) that the men had a strong need for a good leader figure, embodied in their officer  haha... So I took another figure and picked up my finest knife and my drill!  .....Et voilà! Meet Johannes Wilhelm Sontag!...
